PASEOS
Este año escolar hemos planificado todos los paseos para el año. Estamos esperando confirmaciones para los paseos. En cuanto recibamos las confirmaciones se les dará una lista con las fechas y el costo de los paseos que tendremos este año.
El proposito de planificar los paseos para el año es para darle una oportunidad a padres poder saber con anticipación que fechas tendrán disponible para poder acompañarnos y al igual ahorrar para el costo de cada paseo.

FIELD TRIPS
This school year we have planned all the field trips for the year. We are just waiting for confirmations for the field trips. As soon as we recieve those confirmations you will receive a list of field trips with dates and cost for each.

The purpose of doing so is to give parents an opportunity to make arrangements so that they may be a chaperone if interested and at the same time save up for the cost of each field trip.

Escogeremos la cantidad de chaperones de acuerdo a la actividad que estaremos haciendo. Tambien se escogera a los padres que muestran interes primero. Ultimamente, si ya a sido chaperón y hay suficiente chaperones se les dará preferencia a padres que no han asistido un paseo. Les estamos dando la lista con anticipación para que puedan tomar los arreglos necesarios para poder asistir. Es sumamente importante que nos dejen saber con anticipación si no van a poder servir de chaperón para que podamos conseguir un sustito con tiempo.
The number of chaperones needed will be based on the type of activity we will be doing on that day. We will also accomodate parents on a first come, first serve basis. We will also give preference to parents that have not attended a field trip if we have more than enough volunteers. Please be aware that it is very important to let us know ahead of time if you will not be able to attend so that we can call upon another parent to accompany us.

Siendo chaperón es una gran responsabilidad y por eso es muy importante que sepan las responsabilidades de ser un chaperón. Cuando se hace voluntario estamos contando con usted desde un principio empezando con estar a tiempo a la escuela para que no nos atracemos. Dependiendo de la actividad que se hará durante el paseo pueda que esté encargado de un grupo pequeño ó ser un segundo par de ojos para la maestra. Es su responsabilidad de ayudar a mantener a los estudiantes seguros y de recordarles de comportarse de una manera segura. Entre la maestra y usted es su responsabilidad asegurarse que todos estudiantes estan contados. Es importante mantener buena comunicación con la maestra. Sobre todo ¡diviertasé!
Being a chaperone is a big responsibility, beginning with showing up on time so that we don't show up late to our destination. Depending on the activity you may have a small group or be a second set of eyes for the teacher. It is your responsibility to help keep the students safe and remind them of safe behavior. It your responsibility and the teacher's to keep track of all the students. It is also very important to keep good communication with the teacher. Above all, HAVE FUN!
